Creating Your Video

Script & Shot List

Your script and shot list function as a roadmap for you and your production team. Our in-house team of Content Writers will use your Producer’s notes during your initial production meeting as the basis for your script. Next, your Producer will add visuals that correlate with and complement your verbiage.

If you view the example below, you’ll notice that anything that is seen appears on the left side of the document, while anything that is heard is found on the right side. You’ll also be able to understand how we format our documents to differentiate between voice-over, people delivering lines on-camera, and those providing personal testimonials.

In order for every aspect of the process to run as smoothly as possible, we require that the script and shot-list be finalized before we start filming.

Shoot Day

The shoot day is the most exciting part of the entire process! It’s best to be fully prepared to ensure filming goes off with a hitch. Have people, places, and props ready before your videographer arrives. Before your shoot date, your Producer and videographer will reach out to confirm that you’re ready for the fun ahead.

And remember, each individual appearing on camera MUST sign release forms before filming commences.

Completing Your Videos

Final Steps

Once your videographer finishes getting the necessary shots for your video, they’ll send the footage off to our editing team. After that, it won’t be long until your Producer emails the completed video proof to your inbox so that you can review it.

You can either request revisions or approve your video right there! To submit edits, uncheck the box on the top right labeled Approved—No Changes, or give the video the go-ahead by checking the same box and hitting the large green Submit Approval button on the bottom right of the page.
